When ?
All along the year !
Subject to good weather conditions, calm wind and good visibility (in winter, the cold anticyclones allows particularly beautiful flights).
For reasons of comfort and safety, we take off shortly after sunrise, or in the evening with good weather conditions.
Unfolding
Appointment with Altibulle in a place close to the take-off area.
Checking of the tickets.
Technical explanations and briefing "pré-vol".
Setting-up and inflation of the balloons (you can take part).
Boarding and taking-off.
During the flight
Evolution at various altitudes according to the choices of the pilot, the landscapes and the wind. The balloons are not airships, each pilot will remain permanently in radio connection with the team-members who have to follow on the ground. They join the point of landing with vehicles.
Return on ground
It is time to share emotions, to drink a coffee and to put the balloon back in its cover. Issue of a personal certificate of the flight in the balloon. Return to the starting point.
Lenght of the excurtion
Approximately 4 or 5 hours including 1 or 1. 30 for the flight itself.
Advice
Everybody can fly with a balloon, except pregnant women and young children. Comfortable shoes and sportwear are advised. Don't forget your cameras.
